The 3.1.2 Lunchbox method

Inspired and adopted from the works of Dr Miyuki Adachi, designed a lunchbox which is both nutritious and beautiful. It meets the nutrition requirements of one third of adolescents' daily dietary reference values assuming they eat 3 meals per day. This lunchbox style can be adjusted to meet the nutritional needs of adults and children too by reducing or increasing food components followed by nutrition calculations to ensure accuracy. To achieve a healthy lunchbox, follow these rules:

1. Choose the right lunchbox size for your body size, physical activity levels etc. NB- 800ml lunch box=800kcal (appr).

2. Make sure the food is tightly packed so that it doesn't move.

3. Pack your meals in the following ratios - 3 parts staple (rice), 1 parts protein dish, 2 parts side dishes (vegetables).

4. Only one which should be cooked the same way especially one that uses a lot of fat.

5. Make the whole lunchbox look delicious.

Try it out and experience the beauty and health benefits of a carefully prepared lunchbox ( see recipe card in resources).
